ABDO ebooks is a new online site featuring ebooks for elementary schools within the Durham District School Board. Ask your teacher-librarian about the username and password to begin using this exciting resource!
Bookflix offers students both picture books and nonfiction books in an interactive online website. Ask your teacher-librarian about the username and password for home use.
Story Online - This is an online streaming video program featuring actors reading children's books aloud.
Starfall - This site provides online games, printing sheets, activities and build a book programs for children who are just learning the letters to those who are on their way to lower level chapter books.
Public Libraries - Many of our Durham Public Libraries have collections of online reading and eBooks. Check out the one nearest you to see what is offered.

The DDSB Moodle gives students and staff the opportunity to communicate online in a safe digital learning environment, closely monitored by staff at the Durham District School Board.
