Your Teacher-Librarian

A Teacher-Librarian is a teacher who has taken specialized courses in Librarianship.

A TL can provide students with the perfect item to read, whether a picture book, novel, nonfiction book, magazine, comic book, ebook, etc.

A TL creates a library with a warm, welcoming atmosphere for all students and staff.

A TL runs clubs that promote reading, such as the Forest of Reading, Battle of the Books, Graphic Novels, etc.

A TL builds a library collection based on the interests and needs of the students, staff and community.
